Man held for coercing teen girl to strip | Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: A Rajkot resident, who got addicted to online gaming as a teen during the Covid lockdown, was allegedly coerced into explicit acts by a cyber predator from Delhi. The Cybercrime police have arrested Sachin Yadav, 31, for compelling the victim to undress on camera, recording the act and sending its screenshots to her relatives.
The victim, who is now a 22-year-old Chartered Accountancy student, encountered Yadav while playing the popular game, PUBG, during lockdown four years ago.Their interactions gradually extended to various social media platforms. Yadavgained her trust, then allegedly, persuaded her to strip during a video call and recorded it. He allegedly resorted to blackmail, coercing the girl into performing explicit acts on camera and demanding vulgar and sexually charged conversations. After enduring the ordeal for four years, the victim sought help after Yadav sent objectionable photographs of her to her uncle.
Kajal Makwana, the investigating officer, said, “We traced his location from a post on social media and arrested him from Delhi, where he worked as a manual labourer.”
