Rajkot: Six people including three children were killed in three separate road accidents in Rajkot and Devbhumi Dwarka districts.
According to the police, Ajay Sadasiya and his nieces Kinjal, 8, and Mahiti, 4, were killed when the bike they were riding was hit by a car near Jasdan town of Rajkot district on Tuesday evening. Sadasiya’s 11-year-old niece Poonam is in a critical condition in a hospital in Rajkot, police sources said.
A 32-year-old woman and her nine-year-old daughter were crushed by a speeding car in the wee hours of Wednesday while they were crossing the road.The accident occurred near Khambhaliya town of Devbhumi Dwarka district. Hinaba Jadeja and her daughter Krupa were on their way back home from Kutch after attending a wedding. They got off the bus near Kajurda village and were crossing the road when a speeding car hit them. They were rushed to a general hospital in Khambhaliya where they were declared dead.
On Wednesday, a 45-year-old man was run over by a truck coming from the wrong side when he got off a bus near Bedi village on the outskirts of Rajkot. Subhash Chavda, the victim, was employed as a sanitation worker at a private university.
