Man Involved In Series Of Burglaries Held | Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: The local crime branch (LCB) of the Panchmahal district police arrested a man involved in a series of burglaries in the Halol town. Gold and silver jewellery were recovered from the accused.
The breakthrough was made after LCB sleuths received information that Hemant Pawar, a resident of Halol, was contacting people in Godhra to sell jewellery.The police was told that the jewellery was suspicious.
The police held Pawar and searched him. Several gold ornaments as well as silver anklets and coins were found on him.
He was taken in custody and interrogated by the police. It came to light that he was involved in a burglary in Halol last week.
The jewellery and silver coins he was carrying were stolen from there.
It also came to light that Pawar was involved in three burglaries earlier. All the three burglaries were in Halol.
