MDMK urges Tamil Nadu CM to stop appointment of Victoria Gauri as Madras HC judge. Chennai News – Times of India

Chennai: The MDMK Has urged Chief Minister MK Stalin to take steps to stop L Chandra’s appointment Victoria Gowrie As a judge of the Madras High Court.
While MDMK chief secretary Durai Vaiko raised the demand while talking to reporters, his father and party general secretary Vaiko has written a letter to the chief minister on the issue.
Durai Vaiko alleged that Victoria Gauri is known for her hate speeches and is a member of the women’s wing of the BJP. He has been accused of speaking against minorities in public meetings and on social media.
“It is disappointing that the collegium has recommended a person who has been vocal about his hatred towards minorities,” he said. Twenty one senior advocates have written to the President of India seeking withdrawal of his appointment. The petition has also been sent to the collegium.
If he is appointed, justice for minorities will become a big question mark, he said.
