The first meeting of the opposition parties in Patna began at 12 noon on Friday at Chief Minister’s residence 1, Anne Marg. Leaders of 15 parties are present in it. The meeting will last for 5 hours. In the meeting, a roadmap will be prepared to fight against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
JDU sources told Dainik Bhaskar that Nitish Kumar can be made the convenor of UPA. It will be announced after the meeting. Mamta Banerjee said in the meeting that everyone will have to give up ambition. No one should dominate.
Rahul said – we all together are defeating BJP
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray reached Patna on Friday morning. Rahul and Kharge reached the Congress headquarters directly from the airport. Here Rahul addressed the workers. He said that together we will defeat BJP. There is a war of two ideologies going on in the country. On the one hand, Congress has the ideology of ‘Jodo Bharat’ and on the other hand, BJP-RSS has ‘Break India’.

Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge from Congress, Sharad Pawar from NCP, Omar Abdullah from J&K National Conference, Akhilesh Yadav from SP, Uddhav Thackeray from Shiv Sena, Aditya Thackeray, Hemant Soren from JMM, Nitish Kumar from JDU from Bihar and Tejashwi from RJD Yadav and Lalu Yadav.
- These issues will be discussed: 1. One candidate of opposition against BJP on every seat, 2. Name of alliance to be formed against BJP, 3. Common Minimum Program, 4. Seat sharing formula, 5. Also, Delhi Ordinance.

Poster war has started in Bihar even before the meeting.
