MNS MLA Pramod (Raju) Patil issued a statement opposing the bandh.
Patil said, “People should exercise restraint while talking about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and saints of Maharashtra, think before saying anything.”
But if someone says something then why should the general public be troubled by it? Take direct action against those who make such statements. Those who make such statements should be reined in. But common people should not be harassed by calling a bandh. ,
Today, in many areas, especially near Dombivali Shops remained closed at the railway station while shops opened at some other places. Due to the participation of many auto rickshaw unions in the bandh in the morning, many office goers had to face trouble.
Some violent incidents also took place during the bandh.
