List of Toppers of NEET UG 2023: The National Testing Agency has declared the result of NEET UG 2023 today, June 13, 2023. According to the results, Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakraborty from Andhra Pradesh have topped the medical entrance exam NEET-UG this year with 99.99 percentile scores. A total of 20.38 lakh candidates appeared in the exam this year, out of which 11.45 lakh candidates have qualified for the exam.

Among states, Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of eligible candidates (1.39 lakh), followed by Maharashtra (1.31 lakh) and Rajasthan (over 1 lakh). According to a report by news agency PTI, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra are the two most populous states in the country, while Rajasthan is also among the top ten in terms of population.

On May 7, the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) at 4,097 centers spread across 499 cities across the country, including 14 cities outside India.

A senior NTA official said, “Seven candidates have been identified as having indulged in unfair practices in the exam and action has been taken against them as per rules.”

The exam was conducted in 13 languages ​​including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

The exam was also conducted outside India in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore as well as Dubai and Kuwait City.

NTA has assigned All India Rank to the candidates and the admitting authorities will prepare a merit list based on All India Rank for MBBS/BDS seats falling under their jurisdiction. When candidates apply in their state, they will mention their category as per state category list. State counseling authority will make their merit list accordingly. Same is the case with the place of residence. NTA said that NTA has no role in this.
