The NIA has filed a chargesheet against three persons for their involvement in a bomb blast in Khejuri, West Bengal.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed a charge sheet against three accused in the Khejuri bomb blast case in its special court in Kolkata.
Chargesheet was filed against Samar Shankar Mandal, Ratan Pramanik, Kankan Karan and Anoop Das. Due to the death of Anup Das, the charges against him have come to an end.
Investigation revealed that the four accused were involved in a criminal conspiracy to prepare explosives like crude bombs. Further investigation in the matter is on.

On 3 January 2022, there was a bomb blast in the house of accused Kankan Karan, resident of village West Bhanganmari.
Accused Kankan Karan was seriously injured in the blast, while another person succumbed to his injuries.
The case was registered at Khejuri police station in East Medinipur on January 4 and the investigation was taken over by the NIA on January 25.
