OnePlus is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone series in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R in the country on January 23. However, ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed some of the details about the upcoming OnePlus 12R smartphone.

The OnePlus 12R will feature fourth-generation LTPO 120Hz ProXDR display, enabling the screen to dynamically adjust its refresh rate with unprecedented speed and intelligence, as highlighted by the company.
Unlike conventional displays that switch between a restricted set of refresh rates, the LTPO 4.0 technology on the OnePlus 12R allows for seamless transitions across the broadest spectrum of refresh rates, introducing novel options like 90Hz and 72Hz. This innovation ensures optimal performance while concurrently minimising battery consumption.
The company has also revealed that the smartphone will house a 5,500 mAh battery. This is the first time that a OnePlus smartphone will come with a big battery. Along with this, the smartphone will also offer SuperVOOC fast charging.
The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are scheduled for launch during the OnePlus Smooth Beyond Belief Launch Event at 19:30 IST on January 23, 2024. The company has also started early bird ticket sale for the launch event. The ticket for the launch event is price at Rs 599 and it can be purchased from OnePlus.in.
