A total of 12,519 candidates are expected to appear in the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP Polycet) in Visakhapatnam district, according to revenue department officials on Sunday.
The exam will be held on May 10 from 11 am to 1 pm at 34 centers in the district.
In Visakhapatnam, 11,569 students will take the exam at 28 centres, while in Bhimili 950 students will take the exam at six centres.
Candidates will be allowed to enter the centers from 10 am onwards. Police will enforce section 144 at the examination centres.
APSRTC will run special buses. Students should bring only their identity card along with blue or black pen, HB pencil, eraser and hall ticket.
