Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Gorakhpur this afternoon. Here he will attend the centenary year celebrations of Geeta Press. This is the first time in the 100 years history of Geeta Press, when a PM is reaching Geeta Press. Geeta Press has recently received the Gandhi Peace Prize. There was a lot of controversy regarding this.
PM will also launch the new edition of Shiv Mahapuran here. On the other hand, before the PM’s visit, the police in Gorakhpur have arrested Congress District President Nirmala Paswan and Congress leader Tauqeer Alam.
This is Modi’s fourth visit to Gorakhpur after becoming PM. He came here 19 months ago for the inauguration of AIIMS.
From the point of view of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, this visit of one hour and 40 minutes of PM is considered important. Will reach Gorakhpur at 2.15 pm, 2 Vande Bharat trains will leave
PM will reach Gorakhpur airport at around 2:15 pm. After this he will directly go to Geeta Press. From there, will participate in the program of the railway station. He will flag off 2 Vande Bharat trains here. The first train is for Gorakhpur-Lucknow and the second for Jodhpur-Ahmedabad (Sabarmati). Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will pass through Ayodhya.

After the Gorakhpur program, PM Modi will go to his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi. There also the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth more than Rs 12,100 crore. PM Modi will inaugurate the 6760 crore freight corridor between Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction-Sone Nagar railway line.

4. UCC law can be strongly appealed

Uniform Civil Code is a proposal to create and enforce personal laws that will apply equally to all citizens regardless of their religion, gender and sexual orientation.
