BJP has got used to winning. After the crushing defeat of Karnataka, he was worried about feeling of great pride. He got that feeling from the developments in Maharashtra. The rule of life is that the desire for victory does not stop at any end. She always yearns for a bigger win.

After giving a blow to the stalwart of politics like Sharad Pawar in Maharashtra, some BJP leaders are now feeling that like Maharashtra, they can make a big bet in Bihar too. Since elections are still two years away in Bihar, it is necessary to see such scope here.

Sushil Modi and other leaders have now suddenly emerged as Bayan Veer. After the political uproar in Maharashtra, he feels that Nitish Kumar’s MLAs will fall into his lap like ripe apples.

However, it is not that easy because like in Maharashtra, there is no Vibhishan-like nephew with a burning desire to become Chief Minister or Deputy Chief Minister. Anyway, even if the BJP with 74 MLAs takes away three-fourth of JDU’s 43 MLAs i.e. 32 MLAs, even then BJP remains far behind in majority. Now Lalu Yadav’s party has been saved from disintegration.

Nitish Kumar may have changed parties during such a long tenure. He has also gone in favor of BJP, but Lalu Yadav did not budge. He has had an innate opposition to the BJP and the Sangh and he has played this opposition with great vigor. He never thought of joining hands with BJP for power.

However, the BJP is omnipresent and universal, so it can do whatever it wants and is free to dream whatever it wants. It will be interesting to see whether Ajit Dada Pawar, who has joined hands with the BJP in Maharashtra, actually has three-fourths of the MLAs with him or not.

They are claiming that 40 out of 53 NCP MLAs are with them, but Sharad Pawar can spoil this claim and Ajit Dada’s game by holding political rallies across Maharashtra. It is a different matter that Sharad Pawar himself has indicated to the big NCP leaders who were getting scared due to ED and CBI, to join BJP for a few days!

This apprehension is also because, after all, Sharad Pawar is not so naive that nine MLAs of his party suddenly go to the Raj Bhavan and take oath as ministers and they do not know anything! Anyway, it is famous about Sharad Pawar that with which hand he is going to do what, his other hand does not know. In such a situation, the exodus of their veteran leaders from the party does not seem to be an understandable step.

However, the mingling continues in Bihar and Nitish Kumar, Lalu Yadav and his son Tejashwi are on high alert. Lest someone rob them of their power!
