Many fans expressed their disappointment over the first look of Prabhas and criticized the shoddy VFX. One user wrote, “I really wonder where the 100 crores put into Praba’s movies is going because frankly, it doesn’t add up. You can’t claim to be making India’s biggest movies when some of the most basic assets like posters/teasers of your movies smack of such incompetence.” Another user wrote, “So much money is spent on someone who doesn’t put in an iota of effort anymore… Put a better actor or star in it, this could have easily been another game changer for Indian movies.”

“Looks like a fan made poster, even I can edit better than this,” wrote a third.
