Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has once again cornered the former Chief Minister of the state and BJP leader Captain Amarinder Singh in the case of Uttar Pradesh’s strongman and criminal Mukhtar Ansari. He said that Captain is saying that he does not know Ansari but in connivance with Ansari, he had allotted an expensive Waqf Board land in Ropar in the name of his sons Abbas Ansari and Umar Ansari.

The CM said that if Captain asks his son Raninder, he will tell him everything. He challenged Amarinder to explain how Ansari’s son got the costly Waqf Board land in Rupnagar without his participation. In the days to come, if the Captain so desires, he will present to him more evidence relating to his interaction with Ansari.

Talking to the media in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister said that there is an MP-MLA court in UP. Mukhtar Ansari’s case is going on in the same court. As soon as Mukhtar Ansari was in danger of being punished, Ansari contacted the Punjab government through Raninder Singh. Also told to bring him to Punjab. After this, the Punjab government brought Ansari to Punjab in a fake case, he was kept in Ropar Jail for two and a half years.
