The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) affiliated body said a three-day training program for MRM volunteers and workers would be organized in Bhopal from June 8 to June 11.

The RSS-affiliated Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) will launch a nationwide campaign to reach out to the minority community with the theme of “one nation, one flag, one national anthem” ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the organization said on Wednesday. ,

MRM volunteers will spread the message of “true Muslim, good citizen” among the community members as part of the campaign, it said in a statement.

The MRM said the last training program was held in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh in 2021 and was attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, joint general secretary Krishna Gopal and senior functionary Ram Lal.

MRM spokesperson Shahid Sayeed said, “Ahead of the 2024 general elections, the Muslim Rashtriya Manch of the RSS will launch a campaign to take the idea of ​​’one nation, one flag, one national anthem and one law’ to the Muslim community.” Country”.

“Carrying the message of ‘true Muslim, good citizen’, MRM volunteers and workers will reach out to minority communities in every nook and corner of the country,” he said in the statement.

Sayeed said that the MRM has chosen Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, to organize the training program considering the sizeable population of Muslims in the state.

“Muslim votes are moving away from BJP’s vote bank (in Madhya Pradesh). In the last election, the Congress had won the North and Central assembly seats. Both these seats have a large Muslim population. MRM spokesperson said, North Bhopal has become a stronghold of the Congress.

Assembly elections are due in Madhya Pradesh later this year.
