Islamabad High Court restrains police from arresting leaders of Imran Khan’s party – Times of India

Islamabad: After Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President fawad chaudhary, Islamabad High Court The authorities were barred from arresting party leader Shireen Mazari and falak naz Chitrali, Geo News told.
The court also directed the authorities not to probe further when the two politicians appeared before the judge hearing the plea seeking protection from further arrest.
The judge remarked, “No further investigation is required from Falak Naz and Shireen Mazari.”
Geo News reported that the court then ordered the authorities against their arrest and directed them to produce details of the cases filed against them.
Earlier on Tuesday, immediately after being released on the orders of the High Court, the PTI leaders were arrested again from outside the jail.

Earlier, the High Court had restrained the Islamabad Police from arresting Fawad Chaudhary till May 17 (today), Geo News reported.
Chowdhary had earlier returned to the Islamabad High Court seeking protection, soon after his release by the court.
The IHC on Tuesday ordered the authorities to release from custody the PTI leader who was taken into custody on May 10 and declared his arrest “illegal”.
