‘scams Rampant, Cm Is Lying’ | Thiruvananthapuram News – Times of India

Thiruvananthapuram/Thrissur: Prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday lashed out at CPM for “looting the poor” and raised corruption charges against chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his family. He also targeted the Congress, saying the “yuvraj” of the grand old party who could not protect his family’s seat in Uttar Pradesh had come to Kerala to seek votes.
In his speech at Kattakada (Attingal constituency) in Thiruvananthapuram, Modi said there were reports that the chief minister and his daughter had accepted funds from a company named CMRL.The state government is seeing to it that there is no probe into this, he alleged.
“Scams have become rampant in Kerala. The chief minister is lying on the cooperative bank scams, in which the money of poor and common man was looted. He claims that the money will be refunded, but he is also seeing to it that there is no investigation into it,” Modi said.
