Silver articles worth ₹39 lakh seized in Karnataka and reportedly belong to Boney Kapoor – Times of India

The silverware was seized near the Hebbalu toll on the outskirts of Davanagere in Karnataka on Friday, India Today reported. Silverware included bowls, spoons, water mugs and plates. Subsequently, a case has been registered at Davanagere Rural Police Station against Hari Singh who was in the car along with the driver, Sultan Khan.

The silver items were kept in five boxes and the car was the property of a company called Bayview Projects Pvt Ltd, which was set up by Boney Kapoor. Hari Singh reportedly confessed that the silverware belonged to the filmmaker’s family. The silver articles were confiscated for non-production of relevant documents.
