Social media platform X suffers global outage, users can’t see any posts – Times of India

Social media platformX was ground to a halt today as it seems to be suffering froma widespread outage, leaving millions of users unable to tweet, retweet, or scroll through their timelines. Reports of the outage began pouring in around 11 am IST, with users encountering error messages and being unable to access the platform on both web and mobile apps.We have checked both the web and mobile apps and there is not a single post visible on X. However, when you try posting a new tweet, it does show up.

The nature of the outage remains unclear, with X yet to issue an official statement. Downdetector, a website that tracks online outages, reported a surge in user reports, confirming the widespread nature of the issue. Users are able to log in but the “For You” and “Following” feed shows up completely blank.
X (formerly known as Twitter) has faced occasional outages in the past, but the global scale of this disruption and the lack of immediate resolution have intensified user concerns. In the past X faced outage, there was some kind of error message that showed up to users. This time. However, it doesn’t seem to be the case.
As of now, X has not provided any further updates on the situation, leaving users anxiously awaiting the platform’s return to normalcy.
