Kanpur: This time people will get rid of garbage Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP),” said Samajwadi Party (sp) chief Akhilesh Yadav Interacting with the media after addressing a public meeting in Rasoolabad area of Kanpur Dehat Tuesday afternoon.
He also attacked Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for calling “socialist people ‘aparadhi’ (criminals) ‘gunda’ (goons) and mafia”.
The SP chief said, “What can I say now? If he (CM) had not withdrawn the cases against him, he would have had the longest list of criminal cases against him.”
He also said that “if you ask him (CM) anything, he only talks about ‘tamancha’ (country-made pistol)”.
He further taunted the BJP and said that the government has completely failed to fulfill the basic issues, due to which the public will reject them this time.
“These elections are related to the basic needs of the people, which the BJP government has miserably failed to fulfill,” he said.
Yadav further advocated the demand for caste-based census, saying, ‘My party wants to get caste-based census done. Everyone’s support and everyone’s development will be possible only when caste-based census is done and only then.Ram Rajya‘ will be established.
He claimed that the SP will win the maximum number of mayor posts in the ongoing civic elections. He said, “This election will also decide the direction of 2024 elections and there will be a change in the government of Delhi. Nothing new has happened in this government, only dial 100 to dial 112 numbers have been changed.” He said that the arrangement of 108 ambulances is also the responsibility of the SP.
