The film was due to be released across the UK on Friday 12 May. But at the eleventh hour, a few hours before the scheduled release, it was announced that the British Board of Film Certification had not given an age-rating to the film.
Now in a shocking development the British MPs have issued a notice against the arbitrary cancellation of the film.
Confirming this, sudipto Says, “That’s right, Parliament has issued a notice on our behalf. There is no such thing as a ‘ban’ on cinema as per the UK constitution. We are confident that our right to freedom of expression will not be taken away from us in any part of the world.
