The state is witnessing the collapse of law and order: MLA Kamath | Mangaluru News – Times of India

Mangaluru: Mangaluru City South MLA D Ved Vyas Kamath said that the law and order situation in the state has completely collapsed after the formation of the Congress government.
“A series of murders have come to the fore since the formation of the new government in Karnataka under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The law and order situation in the state has completely broken down due to the killings. A Jain monk was brutally murdered in Bangalore and two entrepreneurs were killed in their office. In addition, Yuva Brigade activist Venugopal and several others were murdered recently. The home minister has lost control over the state police,” the BJP MLA said in a release.
He said that the incidents of murder are continuing because the miscreants in the state have no respect for the police force.
He said that the government needs to wake up immediately and put a stop to untoward incidents. He said that a large number of murders, communal clashes and other untoward incidents were coming to the fore in the state when the Congress was in power earlier also.
“The last one and a half months of the Congress administration in the state has again proved that the government is not interested in law and order. Instead of presenting people friendly administration, the government is embroiled in transfer scams and other issues. Let the government ensure a fear-free administration,” the legislator said.
