Tiger 3 First Day advance booking: Salman Khan starrer off to a roaring start at the box office | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

This Diwali, expect fireworks to go off at the box office as Salman Khan releases his highly anticipated film ‘Tiger 3’.
Advance bookings for the spy-action film opened over the weekend and going by just the first-day report, the film is set to have one of the biggest openings at the Indian box office. ‘Tiger 3’, which is the latest instalment of the franchise, opened advance bookings and the results have turned out to be ‘very good’, according to sacnilk.com.
According to the first-day advance booking, the Hindi version of the film has already grossed an estimated Rs 89.64 lakh from 32,192 tickets sold on Day 1 in just the 2D format.
The film reportedly booked all IMAX screenings, earned another Rs 5.53 lakh from the 831 tickets sold in this format.

The report further states that ‘Tiger 3’ now has an overall total of Rs 95.62 lakh from an estimated 33,090 tickets sold in the country over an estimated total of 3933 shows.
The hype is not just in the country but has also spread overseas with the film crossing the $100K mark in advance ticket sales in the USA. The report adds that the film earned an impressive $28.4K for its premiere shows and a huge Day 1 collection of $86.6K.
The total collections of the film now stands at an estimated $115K, which converts to an estimated Rs 92 lakh.
Meanwhile, according to the buzz on social media, several theatre chains around the country have reported a lot of shows filling up fast since advance bookings opened.
Buzz around the film only increased after it was confirmed that Hrithik Roshan would also feature in the film. While it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan would feature in an extended cameo in the film as Pathaan, Hrithik’s entry as Kabir as only amped up the excitement.

In a report on IANS, a source told the portal, “Aditya Chopra has set the wheels in motion for a full convergence of super spies within the YRF Spy Universe! No one knows this but along with Pathaan, Kabir too will make his appearance in Tiger 3!”
“A handful of people know how Adi is visualising Kabir in Tiger 3 and this information is being kept under wraps to be only revealed when Tiger 3 releases in theatres on Nov 12th!”
It was the success of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ & ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ that cemented Chopra’s belief that he could incorporate two more larger-than-life agents Kabir and Pathaan into his plans.
The crossover of characters from this ambitious spy universe also started with ‘Pathaan’, which saw Shah Rukh and Salman teaming up in an adrenaline-pumping action sequence.
‘Tiger 3’ is directed by Maneesh Sharma and will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on November 12.
