Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has accused the BJP of misusing the Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax department for political gains. He alleged that BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Kirodi Lal Meena, who is contesting elections, is making fake complaints to these agencies. Gehlot said that the people of Rajasthan understand this and will give a befitting reply to the saffron party in the polls. He also mentioned the seven guarantees promised by him to the people of the state, including annual honorarium to women and LPG cylinders at a discounted price.

Tamil Nadu assembly readopts 10 bills returned by governor RN Ravi
The Tamil Nadu assembly has readopted 10 bills that were ‘returned’ by the governor without any amendments. This includes a bill to change the name of Tamil Nadu Fisheries University and include a government nominee in the selection panel for the appointment of a vice-chancellor. The governor had withheld assent to these bills without giving any reasons. The AIADMK and BJP MLAs walked out of the assembly before the bills were readopted. The assembly believes that this withholding of assent by the governor is unacceptable.

Gujarat BJP functionary killed by her neighbors after quarrel; 3 held
A female member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Gujarat’s Amreli district was allegedly murdered by her neighbors following a dispute. The police have arrested three individuals in connection with the killing. The victim, Madhuben Joshi, was a local functionary of the BJP and had previously held positions within the party. The incident occurred after a minor accident outside Joshi’s residence, which escalated into a confrontation with the neighbors. Joshi’s son was injured in the attack, while she suffered a fatal wound on her arm.
