An American national was recently detained by the CISF at the Delhi International Airport for allegedly carrying six live bullets in his luggage, official sources said on Wednesday.

The passenger, who was bound for Helsinki on a Finnair flight from the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport on May 22, was handed over to the Delhi Police, who booked him under sections of the Arms Act.

The passenger has now been released on bail, he said, adding the bullets were of Hornady 357 Mag calibre.
