Vietnam urges social media companies to use AI to detect toxic content: report

Vietnam has asked to use social platforms across the border artificial intelligence (AI) Latest requirement in tighter regime for models that can automatically detect and remove “toxic” ingredients social media firms, state media reported on Friday.

The announcement comes as the Southeast Asian country is preparing governance and ethics guidelines for AI that will “catch up” on the fast-growing technology, Reuters reported this month.
