Viral chatbot ChatGPT will soon get a premium version: Here’s what it may offer – Times of India

it was on the 30th of november when OpenAI, an AI research firm, launched ChatGPT. It took barely a few days for the AI chatbot To go ‘viral’ and suddenly it was quite the talk of tech town. Since then, there have been reports of a $10 billion investment by Microsoft. Although, it looks like days of use chatgpt – at least at its full potential – may soon be over for free.
According to a report in TechCrunch, the company announced that a paid version of the chatbot could be launched soon. OpenAI announced on its Discord server that the paid version will be called ChatGPT Professional.

What features will the paid version of ChatGPT provide?

OpenAI has shared a Google Form which is also a waiting list for professional ChatGPT service. OpenAI says that ChatGPT Professional (Experimental) is “ready for professional use”. Some of the features include fast response from ChatGPT, no blackout windows, and as many messages as needed (at least twice the regular daily limit).

OpenAI also clearly states that if you are selected, it will contact you to process payment and set up a pilot. “Please be aware that this is an early experimental program that is subject to change, and we are not making paid Pro access generally available at this time,” the company said.
In Google Forms, there are some questions regarding how much users would be willing to pay for ChatGPT Professional. For example, one of the questions is “At what cost (per month) would you consider ChatGPT to be so expensive that you would not consider buying it?” Similarly to another question “At what cost (per month) would you consider ChatGPT to be a bargain – a great buy for the money?”
It is not clear when and at what cost ChatGPT Professional will be made available.
