Virtual Kerala Travel Mart from 9th May

The second edition of Virtual Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), a flagship event of KTM Society, Kerala’s tourism apex forum, will be organized from May 9 to 12, seeking to reach out to business partners, stakeholders and tourists from across the globe. digital tools, amidst changes in travel and tourism activities affected by the pandemic.

Tourism Minister PA Mohammed Riyas will inaugurate the Kerala Travel Mart 2023 through video conferencing on Tuesday. Finance Minister KN Balagopal will deliver the keynote address, and Law, Industry and Coir P. Rajeev will be the guest of honor on the occasion.

Apart from business meetings, seminars providing insight into the latest trends in the tourism sector across the world and Kerala’s position as a leading experiential tourism destination will be organised.

A biennial event, KTM plans to hold a physical convention in 2022. A total of 44,500 business meetings and online discussions took place in the first edition of Virtual KTM held in 2021. The first edition marked a remarkable initiative towards the marketing strategies of Kerala Tourism in the new normal, and was able to showcase new products and experiences, helping to rebuild the state’s tourism sector.

KTM has introduced an online vendor presentation to assist members in stall booking, stall designing, booking advertisement slots and scheduling appointments with buyers. KTM Society, formed in 2000, is the country’s largest organization in the travel and tourism sector.
