A California-based man, Roger Anderson, is using ChatGPT bots and voice cloners to keep telemarketing scammers on the line for long periods of time. According to a report published by Jolly Roger Telephone Company owners waste their time and money Wall Street Journal.

After subscribing, the user can enable the call-forwarding option to a unique number created for your account, and then ChatGPT bots can handle your robocalls.
Furthermore, the user can also use the ‘Merge’ feature to allow conference calls after which you can discreetly listen to the conversation. There are multiple voices and bot personalities available in this feature that you can try to suit yourself.

The report states that before Jolly Roger, a chatbot named Lenny has also been assisting robocallers since 2008. But Leni has not proved to be very effective.
