A California-based man, Roger Anderson, is using ChatGPT bots and voice cloners to keep telemarketing scammers on the line for long periods of time. According to a report published by Jolly Roger Telephone Company owners waste their time and money Wall Street Journal.

The report states that before Jolly Roger, a chatbot named Lenny has also been assisting robocallers since 2008. But Leni has not proved to be very effective.
