Woman driving BMW crushes young man in Delhi: Woman was returning from party, man was going home with medicines

A woman driving a BMW hit a bike rider in Delhi on Sunday night, in which she died on the spot. According to the police, the 28-year-old woman was returning from a party in Greater Kailash, while the 36-year-old man was going home after taking his medicines.

Police said that the accused woman is a resident of Ashok Vihar. He is an architect by profession. He first hit a generator with his BMW car and then hit the bike of Ajay Gupta, who runs a grocery store. He was badly injured in the accident and later died in the hospital. The police have arrested the woman.

PCR got information at 4 am
Delhi West’s DCP Ghanshyam Bansal said that at around 4 am, PCR received a call, in which information about the incident was given. When the police reached the spot, there was no one there. Two vehicles were found in a damaged condition on the road leading to the Moti Nagar flyover.

The accused woman took the man to the hospital
Locals told that the woman who hit the victim had taken the injured person to ABG Hospital. Later the relatives of the injured person took him to ESI hospital. The police tried to take statement from the family members of the victim, but they were not ready to talk. Later the person died.

Gupta’s family lives in Basai Darapur. The family now consists of wife and two children. Relatives told that Ajay Gupta had left the house late at night to take medicines. After that we got the news of his accident and we reached the hospital.

Police registered FIR
Based on the statement of the family, the police have registered a case under IPC sections 279 (rash driving in public place), 337 (causing danger to life of another), 304A (causing death by negligence). The woman has been arrested.
