Khap panchayats came out in favor of wrestlers
Khap panchayats have also come in support of the wrestlers protesting against Brij Bhushan. Khap mahapanchayat was held at Maham Chaubisi in Rohtak on Sunday. In which it was decided that a candle march would be taken out in Delhi on May 23 in support of the wrestlers. People from all over the country will reach this candle march which will be taken out at India Gate at 5 pm. On May 28, in front of the new Parliament House, there will be a women’s mahapanchayat of khaps, in which, apart from women from across the country, khaps and farmer leaders will also reach. Whatever decision this Mahila Mahapanchayat takes together with the wrestlers, it will be accepted by all the khaps and within 5 hours of the decision, maximum people of all the khaps will reach Delhi.

Wrestlers protesting since April 23
Wrestlers led by Vinesh Phogat, Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik are staging a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi from 23rd April.
