Woman’s Body Found in Surat: Murder Probe Launched | Surat News – Times of India

Surat: The Limbayat police have lodged an offence of murder after a woman’s body with severe injury marks was found in the Nilgiri ground on Thursday.
The woman’s identity has not been established but police found a tattoo on her hand that bore the name Sadhna Harishchandra Heerabai in Hindi.
The woman was spotted by someone in an injured condition in the ground.She was declared dead on admission at the civil hospital.
The postmortem showed that she was attacked with sharp weapons in the back of her head, near her ears, nose, forehead, and lips.
Police inspector VA Jograna told TOI, “We are checking the CCTV footage and other evidence to establish her identity.” tnn
