Varanasi: A team of Cyber crimes Police arrested a member on Friday interstate gang Of cyber criminal And recovered laptops and mobile phones. The police also seized over Rs 47.69 lakh in his bank accounts.
According to reports, the arrested person has been identified as Sher Bahadur alias Prem Kumar of Allahabad district. Acting on a tip-off, Vijay Narayan Mishra’s police team arrested him near Cantt railway station. They were booked under IPC sections 417, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B, 411 and IT Act.
Police has so far arrested 12 members of the gang.
During interrogation, Kumar confessed that he along with his gang members used to create fake PAN and Aadhaar cards and fake websites. His gang was also involved in cyber fraud with police pensioners. He was involved in this racket for the last three years.
