Irrfan Khan’s last film ‘The Song of the Scorpions’ also starring Waheeda Rehman, to release on this date – Times of India

Irrfan Khan passed away on April 29, 2020 due to cancer. The actor has left a huge void not only for his family but also for the industry as actors like him are very rare to see. His last film, ‘The Song of Scorpion’ is scheduled to release on April 28, which will be Irrfan’s third death anniversary. The film is produced by Zeeshan Ahmed, who says, “It is an honor for me to have my name associated with this film as a co-producer and one of the presenters of the film. We are glad that Irrfan Khan will be seen in a film for the last time.” The onscreen presence is soon going to release in theaters across the country and his fans will get a chance to see him on the big screen for the last time. Trust me, Irrfan’s character and performance in the film will leave you spellbound.”

In the film, Irrfan’s character is that of a camel trader who falls in love with Nooran. She is a tribal woman who is independent and has been learning the ancient healing art of scorpion-singing from her grandmother. According to a popular myth, if a scorpion bites someone, they will die until a scorpion-singer heals the person by singing his song.
‘The Song of the Scorpions’ premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland. there are stars in it Waheeda Rehman and Shashank Arora in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Anoop Singh. Trailer will be out tomorrow.
