Janhvi Kapoor expressed her gratitude with a note for fans who took out time to watch Nitesh Tiwari’s film Baawaal.

Janhvi Kapoor did a wonderful performance in the black comedy film ‘Good Luck Jerry’. The actress was not only appreciated for her performance but also for her efforts in playing a gray character. Similarly, her recent film Miley featured the actress pushing envelopes playing a nursing student who gets trapped in the freezer. Now the actress is receiving a lot of appreciation for her performance in Nitesh Tiwari’s Baawal opposite Varun Dhawan. Reacting to the appreciation her film has been receiving, Janhvi Kapoor penned a heartfelt note to express her gratitude.

On Sunday, Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared several stills from the film along with words of appreciation and rave reviews from critics. But it was the note that caught everyone’s attention. Her caption read, “Your love is #Running ❤️ Thank you for giving so much love to our story and work – Nisha for herself, Ajju for improving herself ❤️ In this race to make an impression, compete for things and some kind of recognition – some of us get lost.” And sometimes what seems to us to be the biggest problem is actually just our mind that doesn’t allow us to value what we have. In light of the inhuman hardships faced by many people during one period of history, perhaps we can learn that life is fleeting; That our problems are trivial, that it doesn’t matter what you have, but what you are, that sometimes we forget to value the simplest things until we lose them, then we realize that this was our only chance at true happiness. This is the heart of our #Bawaal ❤️ To see so many of you having such feelings after watching our film, makes it all worthwhile ☺️.”

Responding to her post, Orhan Awatramani made a clever reference to a scene in the film where Janhvi Kapoor cooks instant rajma chawal recipe for Varun Dhawan. He remarked, “Make Rajma Chawal for me.” Another said, “#bawal hai movie.” Someone else said, “Tum khud bawal ho ya movie be bawal.”

Baawal is a collaboration between Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari’s Earthsky Pictures. The story revolves around Ajay Dixit, also known as Ajju Bhaiya, a regular high school history teacher who has gained local fame due to the false persona he has created. Unforeseen circumstances force him to embark on a journey through Europe tracing the tracks of World War II and bringing his newly married wife Nisha along. The film premiered exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 200 countries and territories on July 21.
